How soon can I walk on it? We recommend you keep all staff, tenants, and any other service contractors working in the building off of the carpets for a period of at least 6-8 hours.

Do you move the furniture? Yes. Please mention which rooms need furniture moved at the time of the pricing estimate. We offer a discounted rate for rooms that do not need furniture moved.

Can you clean carpet or rugs over hardwood floors? Yes, we have our system set up where the backing of the carpet or rug is not saturated, therefore no problem with wood floors underneath. No problem with edges either, our rinse does not affect hardwood floors.

Do you clean Berber? Absolutely. Berber is a weave, not a particular type of fiber. Berber is simply a type of loop construction that may come in olefin, nylon, wool or a blend. Berber requires a more thorough cleaning than other carpets because the "flushing" action needs to take place to get under, around, and through the loops. Other companies that are not as thorough as we are have a lot of problems with Berber because they leave soil behind that "wicks" back to the surface.

How often should I have my carpet professionally cleaned? A. Frequency of cleaning should be determined based on household conditions. We recommend professional cleaning at least every 6-12 months to extend the life and beauty of your carpet. (Most carpet manufacturers require steam cleaning/ hot water extraction by a qualified professional at least every 18-24 months to retain your texture retention warranty).

Does cleaning remove the original soil retardant protector from my carpet? Does cleaning remove the original soil retardant protector from my carpet?

Do you guarantee to remove all the spots and stains? We have great success with most spots. A spot is something foreign on the carpet or upholstery that can be removed. A stain is something we call a spot after we have exhausted all removal possibilities. It's impossible to predict the outcome prior to cleaning so we cannot guarantee total stain removal.

Will your equipment scratch my floors, walls or baseboards? No. We take special care and precautions to make certain nothing is damaged while we're in your home. Fine floors and white painted trim are no problem. We take great pride in our work.

What do I need to do Dynaclean Carpet Cleaning arrives? We prefer you have your staff/tenants move small items such as waste/recycling receptacles, boots, shoes, knick-knacks off the carpet, and everything off any furniture you would like us to move.

How much will it cost? Carpet cleaning prices are based on the square footage of area cleaned and how much, if any furniture you would like us to move. Upholstery cleaning is based on a scale of difficulty and estimated time. We can sometimes give you a rough idea over the phone with more information from you, however we prefer to come out and look at your needs ahead of time. Written estimates are free, the cost won't change unless you add or subtract services, and it gives you a chance to meet the person who will be doing your cleaning.

Do I have to be here the entire time that the cleaning takes place? No. We're licensed, bonded, insured and can provide you with police clearances upon request. Many customers will meet with us and then leave when we're ready to begin cleaning. When we're finished, we lock ourselves out. If you're a past customer or we've done an estimate for you, we can arrange for entry while you're at work, and call you if we have any questions, if that is your preference.

Aren’t all carpet cleaners the same? Shouldn’t I look for the cheapest price? Most times if you read the fine print, you’ll find that the cheap advertised price is not truth in advertising. The fine print will normally include extra charges for dirty carpet, pre-spraying, or “pre-scrubbing”. Sometimes these “extra” fees can cost you as much as an additional .50 cents or more per square foot. Also, many of these companies have poorly trained technicians that do not have the knowledge required to do a quality job and it usually costs more than it would have for a reputable, quality carpet cleaning company.

Does Scotchguard or Teflon carpet protector really work? When nylon carpet is manufactured, it is made with a Teflon protective coating to help resist soils and stains. As your carpet is walked on, some of that protective coating is worn away, especially in the high traffic areas. Manufacturers recommend that this Teflon coating be reapplied periodically to help restore the soil and stain repellency qualities of your carpet. In order for this Teflon protector to perform as it is intended, the carpet must first be prepared by removing any soapy residues and properly neutralized, leaving it in a state that the Teflon will readily bond to.

Is it safe for my kids and pets to have my carpet cleaned? Our cleaning agents are non-toxic and biodegradable so they are not harmful to kids and pets. However, since we do use powerful equipment we would ask that they not be in the areas while we are cleaning.

My carpet is filthy, I don’t think it can be cleaned? Extreme soiling and dark spots are no match for our high-tech equipment, quality cleaning agents and our highly trained technicians. However, we cannot reverse heavy wear, and in some instances certain stains may be permanent.

How does your system compare to those rental machines or the do it yourself methods? There really is no comparison. Although they do remove some soiling, they really don’t have the power to do a really deep clean, or the extraction power to remove most of the water, which can leave your carpet wet for extended periods. If done properly, this method could be used as a maintenance step between professional cleanings. Please keep in mind that sometimes the detergents provided could leave a soapy residue and cause your carpet to resoil quickly. Our technicians are highly trained in cleaning chemistry and spot and stain removal, so they know how to best care for your carpet.
